Commerce Township Chiropractor Dr. Rich Sadowski
I'll admit, I was clueless! I had no idea what a Chiropractor did. It's funny how life has a way of opening one door and closing another," says Dr. Sadowski. "I thought I was going to be an architect, but my true passion lied in overall health, wellness and fitness."
Trying to decide which path to take was a troubling task. It wasn't until a friend mentioned chiropractic and caught my attention. After visiting my Grandmother's Chiropractor and learning about chiropractic's natural approach to health, fitness and well being - I was hooked! This was exactly what I was looking for. I then set the course and never looked back.
Dr. Sadowski started his pre-chiropractic education after graduating from Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory High School in 1983. From there, he attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After completing his undergraduate work, he was accepted to National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. During his years at National College, Dr. Sadowski earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology as well as his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He completed the five year graduate program in only 3 1/2 years. Dr. Sadowski then returned to the lakes area soon after to establish Commerce Chiropractic in Commerce Township in 1991.
"We love skeptics," smiles Dr. Sadowski. "I have realized that most people are skeptical because they don't really know what chiropractic is all about. So we make it a point to explain in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. We believe that the more a person understands, the better decision they can make about their health. We also explain our fees up front so that people know exactly what to expect. Patient appreciate that."
Dr. Sadowski is married to Staci and they have two sons, Noah and Dylan. Both children were delivered with the help of a mid-wife and were adjusted within hours of birth. (If that sounds interesting, be sure to ask Dr. Sadowski to explain.)
