Tami, our massage therapist is highly skilled in all areas of massage and can provide a wonderful compliment to your chiropractic care. From gentle touch to deep tissue, Tami will customize a massage program for you so that you receive the best massage benefits possible!
What is myofascial release?
“Myo” means muscle, and “fascia” to the elastic web of connective tissue that ties your body together. Muscles and fascia work together to support your body and facilitate movement. Myofascial release techniques relieve tension and pain by releasing and lengthening both muscles and fascia.
What is reflexology?
We have over 7000 nerve endings on the soles of our feet. This makes them quite sensitive and responsive to therapy. Feet are accessible and easy to work. Reflexology has been shown to improve circulation, reduce swelling and decrease soreness.
What is craniosacral therapy?
Craniosacral therapy taps into a rhythm that can be felt strongly at your head (cranium) and at the base of your spine (sacrum). Because your body is connected in all its parts, tension can restrict the flow of this rhythm. Light, gentle touch can restore and correct this rhythm allowing for positive changes to occur.
